American scientists have found indirect evidence of the existence of life on Venus

American scientists have found indirect evidence of the existence of life on VenusAmerican scientists from the Institute for Space Studies Goddard said that on Venus could be a life of 1-2 billion years ago. That is the conclusion, scientists have come after conducting research on the development of computer models of the planet.

It is reported that for the construction of models, researchers used the same techniques that are used for studying climate change on Earth. They presented four options of Venus under different conditions. In situations where accurate information about the planet's climate was not enough, they were guided by reasonable assumptions.

In addition, the researchers built a model based on the assumption that there was an ocean on Venus, which covered about 60% of the planet.

The resulting model of the evolution of the planet have shown that Venus could remind the young Earth and be habitable for a long time. The most promising model showed that the planet could occur periodically even snowfall, and temperatures were moderate.

The researchers suggest that in such conditions on Venus could harbor life.

"There is no reason to believe that life in such a world could not exist in the oceans, however, it is almost all that can be said." - Lead study author Michael Wei said.

The study authors emphasize that future missions to Venus could confirm their discovery.

Currently, NASA is considering two projects: one involves resetting the device to the surface of the planet, the other - observations from orbit. However, both the mission has not yet been approved.
