Albert Feldman’s exhibition opens in KyivFrom the 2nd to the 28th March 2016 the Kiev Museum of Sholem Aleichem hosts an exhibition of the artist Albert Feldman "In memory of the Shtetl."

His sphere of interests in painting includes characteristic portraits, emotional landscapes, genre scenes, bright still lifes’, surrealism and mysticism.

Albert Feldman was born and grew up in Russia, then for a long time he lived in Israel, and now he lives in Kiev. By education he is a doctor and a psychologist, but by vocation he is a writer, an essayist and an educator. Painting was not his professional field. He began to paint two and a half years ago after taking several academic drawing lessons.

For almost two years Feldman has been helping the development of psychological rehabilitation program for the refugees and soldiers from ATO via isotherapy and art therapy.

In 2015, he was the curator of the exhibition of paintings, sculpture and decorative arts, the authors of which were the patients of psychiatric hospitals in Ukraine.

Albert Feldman has assembled an important collection of art works created during isotherapy, and now he is planning to open the first Ukrainian Museum "Art Brut".
