Value added tax, excises and customs duties have undergone a significant rise in the first place.
Customs payments including value added tax, excises and customs duties in January-August 2016 increased by 40% compared to the same period in 2015, according to the chairman of the State Fiscal Service (SFS) Roman Nasirov speaking at a cabinet meeting on Tuesday.
"If you compare the last year and this year periods, we get 40% more. This is particularly the VAT, excises and customs duties," SFS chairman said.
According to Nasirov, SFS plans to continue to increase the amount of customs duties.
SFS head noted: "I think that by the end of the year we will get at least UAH 21-23 billion per month, and due to the mobile teams and inter-regional customs, and stricter control of customs valuation and goods classification we will try to go even further."
