Ukrainian State Investments Commission selects projects for financingThe Commission has started to select investment projects for granting of UAH 24 billion, UNIAN.

Interdepartmental Commission on Public Investment Projects chaired by the First Deputy Prime Minister - the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv has commenced selecting projects to be financed by the public investment in 2017-2019, according to the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development.

Forty projects have been examined, half of which have already been declared as the most likely candidates to receive funds.

The Ministry of Economic Development press-office reported: "Total investment by 2019 will be UAH 24 billion.

"Investment projects relate to health, construction of service housing, social and cultural sphere, the environment, the authorities operation their services, transport infrastructure, and the agricultural sector," it goes in the statement.

It is expected, the final list of projects will be approved in the next 10 days, financing of the selected projects will be included in the state budget draft for 2017.

The press-office noted: "This projects selection has been running for he second consecutive year as a part of the implementation of the public investments reform supported by the World Bank."
