In Jan-July 2016, deficit of Ukraine's foreign trade in goods up to $ 2.529 bn
The deficit of Ukraine's foreign trade in goods was estimated at USD 2.529 bn January through July 2016. This is 1.4 times up on the deficit registered in the seven months of 2015 at USD 1.812 bn, UNIAN reported citing National Bank of Ukraine.
Goods exports in the reviewed period totalled USD 17.924 bn, having declined by 11.6% year-over-year, while imports shrank by 7.4%, to USD 20.453 bn, the National Bank of Ukraine reported with the reference to preliminary reports.

The reports don't include data on Russia-annexed Crimea with Sevastopol and temporarily occupied areas in eastern Ukraine, the NBU said.

In January-June 2016, the deficit of Ukraine's foreign trade in goods was estimated at USD 1.953 bn. This is 23.5% up on the deficit year-over-year, when it was $1.581 billion, according to the NBU.
