Apple wants to have a car ready by 2024, Reuters reported on Monday.
The tech giant is likely to contribute automated-driving and battery technology while outsourcing manufacturing to another company, Reuters reported.
Tech-industry experts told Business insider Tesla, Volkswagen, and Magna Steyr are the most likely candidates to build Apple's car.
