Ukrainian GDP increased by 1,3% in annual terms

Ukrainian GDP increased by 1,3% in annual termsThe growth of the Ukrainian economy in the second quarter of 2016 accelerated to 1,3% after the growth by 0,1% in the previuos quarter.

Gross national product (GDP) of Ukraine in the second quarter of 2016 increased by 0,6% compared to the previous quarter, first quarter of 2015, taking into account seasonal factor. That is after the drop by 0,7% in the first quarter of the same measurement.

The State Statistics Service of Ukraine reports that the GDP growth in the second quarter of 2016 has accelerated to 1,3% after the growth by 0,1% in the previuos quarter compared to the second quarter of 2015.

Earlier, the deputy head of the National Bank of Ukraine Dmitry Sologub reported GDP dynamics in the second quarter will be better than in the first one, its growth will make up to 1-2%.

The main creditor of Ukraine is the International Monetary Fund predicts the GDP growth by 1,5% with the inflation rate of 15,1%; the World Bank predicts the GDP growth by 1% with the inflation rate of 15%.
