Morgan Stanley wealth management's head of market research told us a risk to longer-term assets that investors are most overlooking as the economy recovers a?? and recommends 3 portfolio shifts for...

Morgan Stanley's wealth management market research chief Dan Skelly told Business Insider that investors aren't worried enough about duration risk.




A rise in interest rates due to a stronger economy would hurt assets that are benefiting from the low-rate environment, he said.




Skelly recommended investors start making three portfolio shifts to mitigate duration risk.
