Nearly a third of all new cars sold in Norway last year were completely electric vehicles.
In 2018, electric cars rose to 31.2% of all sales in the country, up from 20.8% in 2017 and just 5.5% in 2013, according to the independent Norwegian Road Federation (NRF).
The figure is a new world record and cements Norway's position as the global leader in electric car sales per head of population.
