Hundreds of inhabited localities all over Ukraine suffer the consequences of harsh weather with snowfalls, rains and unusually low temperatures in April. Most of these towns and villages (245) are in Odesa region, Ukraineís State Emergency Service says

ĎAs of 7 a.m., 318 localities in six regions remain cut off from the grid - in Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Zaporizhya regions,í the service said.

As reported earlier, overnight into April 19, bad weather conditions (rain, wet snow, gusts of wind) caused blackouts in 152 populated areas in six regions. Unusual for April snowfall and strong winds
caused traffic jams in Kharkov and Poltava regions. Due to heavy snowing in Dnipro, the Southern Ukraine, a temporary limitation for vehicles was introduced in the region.
