Russian company Lucky Labs involved in Petya.A cyber attack - Ukraine's mediaThe organizer of the massive hacker attack that began in Ukraine and took place in 64 countries is the Russian company Lucky Labs. This company tightly cooperates with the special services of Russia.

This is reported by 112 UA TV Channel qouting Podrobnosti.

ĎWe are credibly informed from the sources of bodies of the national defense and combating cyber crime, that the stockholders of the Lucky Labs Sergey Tokarev and Rustam Gilfanov are involved in the caseí, the mass media reports.

According to the message, the experts of the cyber security department tend to the fact that the mentioned persons provided the resources for the spreading of the virus and its delivery to the users to attack the networks of Ukrposhta. ĎIt is defined that the workers of the Lucky Labs got the access to the networks of the strategic services, including Ukrposhta and attacked the networks with the virus and spread the virus using the technic resources and the received dataí, the media writes.

The edition noted that the supposed aim of the attack is the discredit of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, levelling of his achievements in the sphere of the state policy and reforms and the image strike on the law enforcement system before the Day of Constitution of Ukraineí.

The mass media reminds that Lucky Labs became famous in the result of the scandal connected with the organization of the illegal gambling online-business. This fact was defined by the law enforcements of Ukraine in April 2016. Moreover, the Security Service of Ukraine suspects the company and its stockholders in the financing of the terrorist organizations of DPR and LPR. Due to these facts, the company and its stockholders were included to the sanctions list.

23 criminal proceedings were opened due to the facts of the unauthorized interference to the electronic computer systems of the state and private establishments, organizations and enterprises. 47 cases are under consideration.
